Seminar Details

Innocent drinks have been working to make their packaging both as consumer appealing and sustainable as possible ever since (almost) they started selling smoothies back in 1999. Their first step was to introduce a little bit of recycled plastic to their 250ml PET smoothie bottles, which led to a number of other initiatives such as introducing FSC certified cartonboard to their portfolio last year.

Today they are trying to develop new ways of reducing the carbon intensity of their packaging portfolio, a measure they started tracking in 2010 in conjunction with signing up to WRAP's Courtauld Commitment II.

Louise Stevens, innocent sustainability manager, will explore some of their challenges and successes in maintaining consumer appeal without compromising sustainability ambitions.
