Seminar Details

Without packaging, the world would be a much stickier, smellier and less pleasant place. Ultimately we need it but we need to use Less of it.

This seminar seeks to explore the challenges of the retailer and brand owner in their mission to reduce packaging and realize the associated supply chain efficiencies. It will also focus on the results that can be achieved and how to formulate and implement a process for delivery.

As a point of interest for the seminar and to provide some focus on CC2, Less will be optimizing some randomly selected SRP and transit packs from various retailers in order to demonstrate the value of designing waste out of packaging and supply chain.

In 2008, The Less Packaging Company took the decision to market an approach that they felt directly responded to the needs of the consumer, retailer and brand owner. The resulting offer sought to embrace the environmental, commercial, legal and perceptual goals of their clients. The Less approach is regarded by many of the leading names in retail as one of the most innovative approaches in the world of packaging today. Their key retailer clients include M&S and Tesco.
