With the publication of Issue 4 of the Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Material, understand the major changes in the new Issue, the revision process and implications for the packaging industry, retailers and auditors.

Based on global consultation, the revised Standard has incorporated new requirements in the areas of print control, risk of chemical migration, quality and functional aspects of packaging, complementing the established requirements of factory hygiene.

Gain an understanding of the structure of the Standard, including the newly introduced Grading system to drive continual improvement, and the 'Fundamental' clauses, highlighting those systems crucial to the establishment and operation of an effective packaging manufacturing operation.
